The artists
The Danish recorder player Bolette Roed studied at the Royal Conservatory in Copenhagen and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Lyon. Soon after her debut, she was named Artist of the Year by Danmarks Radio and awarded the Jacob Gade Foundation Grand Prize. In 2019, Bolette Roed founded the Copenhagen Baroque Festival. Her repertoire ranges from the Middle Ages to projects with jazz musicians and DJs. She regularly performs concerts with Ensemble Arte dei Suonatori, Elephant House Quartet and her trio Alpha (recorder, saxophone, percussion). Most recently she released the albums "Telemann's Garden" and "Vivaldi's Seasons".

In addition to her studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and the New England Conservatory in Boston, Polish harpsichordist Małgorzata Sarbak attended master classes with Bob van Asperen, Jos van Immerseel and Robert Hill. As a soloist and chamber musician, she has performed with Sinfonia Varsovia, the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Vienna Morphing Orchestra, and has appeared at festivals in Nantes, Bilbao, Copenhagen, Berlin, and Tokyo. Sarbak performs on period keyboard instruments such as the tangent grand, on which she also interprets works by Chopin. For the CD, she recorded Bach's Klavierübung I and music by Polish composer Paweł Szymański.
