Entrepreneurship in the healthcare sector: Innovation for an industry in crisis

Date: 23. - 23.09.2024 18.00 - 19.30

Switzerland's healthcare system is heading for a crisis. Exploding costs, demographic change and a shortage of specialists are the reasons for this. Time for innovative solutions. This is where WeNurse comes in. The start-up is dedicated to transforming the nursing profession and offers nurses an alternative career model that allows more autonomy and entrepreneurial influence.

As an innovative recruitment agency, WeNurse already employs 30 nurses who are also partners and has 25 partners, all of whom are institutions such as hospitals and care homes in the Swiss healthcare market
In an interview with Simon Hodel and Alessia Schrepfer, we find out more about the business idea, the role of entrepreneurship in the healthcare sector and the resistance they encounter.
